Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-16. This policy explains what data Zhengzhou Hangtai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Hangtai) collects when you use www.hangtaicn.cc, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect

Inquiry form. When you submit a question or quotation request through the contact form on the homepage, you provide your name, email address, country, and a free-text message. Phone number and company name are optional. We use this data only to reply to your inquiry and prepare a quotation.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage statistics: pages visited, referrer, and a coarse country/city derived from your IP. IP addresses are anonymized to /24 subnets (IPv4) or /48 prefixes (IPv6) at collection time, and we never store full IPs. You can withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Server logs. Our web server records request metadata (timestamp, path, anonymized IP) for 180 days for security and aggregate traffic analysis. This is a legitimate interest under GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and runs regardless of your analytics choice.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide quotations, samples, or technical documentation.
  • To improve the website through aggregated analytics (only with your consent).
  • To send a copy of each inquiry to our internal sales team via Feishu, a workplace messaging tool operated by ByteDance. The message is delivered to a closed internal channel; Feishu does not use it for advertising.
  • To comply with applicable accounting, tax, and export-control record-keeping obligations.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use the following storage technologies on this site:

  • Strictly necessary: i18nextLng (your language preference) and cookieConsent (your consent decision). Both are set without prior consent because they are required for the site to function.
  • Analytics: GA4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and any cookies set by Google Signals are placed only after you click "Accept analytics" in the consent banner. Rejecting analytics blocks these entirely.

4. Third parties

Google (analytics only). With your consent, page-view data is processed by Google LLC. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Feishu (inquiry notifications). Inquiry content is forwarded to our sales team's internal Feishu group. Feishu is operated by ByteDance Ltd. and processes the message in their data centers. We share only the content you submit; no tracking is involved.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

5. Data retention

  • Inquiry records: 18 months from last contact, after which we anonymize them for statistical use.
  • Server logs: 180 days.
  • Analytics records: 14 months (GA4 default).

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, or any jurisdiction with equivalent privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

We are based in the People's Republic of China. By using this site and submitting an inquiry, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in China. For EEA/UK visitors, we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for China (in place since 2024) where applicable, and on contractual safeguards otherwise.
